What is AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support our program (Rio Salado Target Terminators) every time you shop, at NO COST to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to our program (Rio Salado Target Terminators).

How do I shop at AmazonSmile?

There are many different ways. Please see the steps in the right hand column to assist you.

Is there a Cost to Customers or the Rio Salado Target Terminators to participate?

There is NO COST to you or the Rio Salado Target Terminators program. You will have access to the same products, features, services, and great low prices as on Amazon.com. The shopping experience is identical to Amazon.com with the added benefit that the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from eligible AmazonSmile purchases to charitable organizations selected by customers.

Which products on AmazonSmile are eligible for charitable donations?

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases and subscription renewals are not currently eligible.

Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile?

Yes, you use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.

How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges.

What will the program do with the money?

All the funds received from AmazonSmile will go directly back into the program.

Apple iPhone Amazon App Set Up

  1. Open the Amazon App.
    Note: If you do not have the app on your phone you will need to download it from the Apple App Store here -> Amazon Shopping App
  2. Once open click on the three lines (hamburger icon) in the lower right corner.
  3. In the Program and Features section, click on AmazonSmile.
  4. Click on Turn on AmazonSmile button, you will be taken to the AmazonSmile page
  5. Click on the Continue button
  6. Click on the Got It button
  7. Click on Enable Notifications button
  8. Find and click on the Amazon App in settings
  9. Click on Notifications
  10. Click on Allow Notifications
  11. Then return to the Amazon App
  12. Click on Turn on AmazonSmile button
  13. Click on Start Shopping button

Android Amazon App Set Up
