Practice info below for this Friday Rio Salado Target Terminators – 2023-34 Season

Evenings are cooling off so please come prepared with jackets or sweatshirts. Desert cools off faster than at your house! Potential of some rain on Friday. Rain normally does not affect shooting but if any lightning, we will pull shooters from field until storm passes.
We will have hot dogs, nachos, pretzels and other small snacks & drinks available for donation at the Target Terminator Conex on Friday evening.
We do ask for patience and understanding from everyone as we are still very early in our season. It will be a busy evening. Please remember that all of our coaches are volunteers in this program and truly enjoy introducing the shooting sports to our athletes and making this an enjoyable sport for everyone!
** NEW ATHLETES THIS SEASON but ATTENDED RSTT Orientation / Safety Class yet this fall — Sign up for DryFire only (this also includes a 30 minute time at the Practice Field (incoming/outgoing targets) following DryFire.) We request that you do 3 rounds of DryFire to help instill good habits so for many of you this will be the 2nd or 3rd round so please sign up for DryFire a minimum of 3 times.
** NEW ATHLETES & RETURNING ATHLETES – DID NOT attend Orientation / Safety Class this fall — Sign up for SAFETY CLASS. We will work you in at DryFire following the Safety Class if you are new.
– NEW ATHLETES – Please DO NOT sign up for anything else this week if you are new other than Safety Class.
– RETURNING ATHLETE – You may sign up for the TRAP FIELD sessions also but allow a minimum of 45 minutes for Safety Class before Trap time slot.
** RETURNING ATHLETES (that did attend safety class this fall)
– PRACTICE FIELD – (individual stations – one on one coaching) – Please sign up for 1 time slot at the practice field.
– TRAP FIELD – You may sign up for 2 time slots – each time slot is one round. TRAP FIELD TIMES ARE NOW 25 Minute TIME SLOTS — PLEASE ARRIVE 20 min EARLY … LATE ARRIVALS RISK NOT BEING ABLE TO SHOOT
– TRAP is the upper field directly across the bridge – 5 shooters per squad
– INCOMING is the lower stations where coaches are one-on-one with the athletes.

Please remember — Eye Protection is required for EVERYONE. RX Eyewear is fine.
NO LOANER GLASSES. Safety Glasses available at SCTP Conex for $2 each.
